The Venetian glass art has an antique, pre-Medieval history. Inheriting the use of the sodic glass from the Eastern Mediterranean people, the Venetian Masters realized, that, thanks to the high temperatures, it was possible to obtain malleable glass, able to be blown and modelled. Thanks to these properties of the glass, the Venetian Masters developed the aesthetical potentialities improving continuously styles and techniques. Our Glass Master are still using this antique art.
